Faith
"An Altered Reality"

Faith in the New Testament comes from the Greek words “Pisteuo” and “Pistis” which means to believe, to accept that which is truthful, conviction, a belief. The root or foundation of these Greek words is “Peitho.” It means to persuade, to influence, to alter one’s sense of reality through interjection. Persuasion only works when it is accepted by the one being persuaded. This in turn causes one to believe in something that they did not believe in before. Hence the phrase-My truths are my beliefs. One’s beliefs are one’s realities.

Faith is a choice. Faith depends on acceptance. Faith is accepting that which is judged the truth. Acceptance is derived from judgment. Those who lack proper judgment will accept almost anything as being true, even a lie. Faith is the end result of a selective or unselected decision rendered from a judgment. Judgment is an active part of free will. Everyone is born with the “god given right” of self determination. This is the foundation of an individual’s spiritual soul. No human or spirit can take this away from anyone unless it is surrendered. If faith is not based on a free-will decision resulting from unbiased judgment then it is no longer an accepted belief but one that is founded on blind allegiance.

Blind faith is the result of an impaired mind. A mind that was forced into accepting such a belief system is devoid of the freedom of thought and is one that is hindered in using proper judgemental. Faith without evidence is a faith based on the delusions of fantasy. Blind faith is the religious system of “Ra” who is Satan.

Heb 11:1          Now faith is the confidence based on the evidence of deeds not seen (the invisible hand of Yahovah*God). This is the correct
translation which is not based on the modern English Bible. Evidence is the foundation of the “Law” given to Moshe (Moses).
In order to render a judgment, a proper decision must be decided based on evidence. The word “evidence” in the Greek is                           Endeigma, Endeixis, Elegchos and Endeiknumi which means manifestation of acts, a token, a sign, or proof of evidence.

Faith is created when one believes something to be true or to be real. It (Faith) becomes one’s own reality. Faith is generated through evidence which may come from the various events in one’s life. It also comes from reading scriptures which is the testimony of those who witnessed events that surround their journeys in life. These events are the evidence that lays the foundation of faith.

1 Jn 5:13           The writings of scripture is for the benefit of those who believe.

Ro 10:17           Faith received through hearing which comes from the testimony of the Messiah.

Jn 10:26            Not everyone is going to be a believer (have spiritual faith) because they are not Yahovah*God’s sheep.

Jn 10:37            Faith is the end result of the evidence of works

Jn 10 38            Though you believe me not (Yahshua), believe my works (evidence), that you may know (understand), and believe (Faith).

Jn14:11             Faith received through works.

Jn13:19             Faith received through prophecy. Also Jn 14:29

1Co 14:22        Prophecy is for believers only because it builds their faith.

Jn16:30             Faith received through knowledge.

Jn17: 20            Faith received through doctrine (teaching of Yahshua).

Jn19:25             Faith received through the records of scripture.

1Th 2:13            Faith comes by hearing and accepting that which is being preached.

Mk9:23              If you can believe (Accept/Faith), all things are possible (an open door).

Mk11:24            What things you desire when you pray believe that you will receive them and you shall have them. This is the power of faith.

Mk16:17            Signs (exorcism and power of tongues) shall follow them that believe.

Jn4:48               The Messiah said, except you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Faith comes from seeing evidence. Also Jn6:29-36

Heb 11:6           First part-Without “faith”, which is the acceptance of the evidence of the truth, it is impossible to please Yahovah*God. The
word “please” comes from the Greek word Euaresteo which means to accept or acceptability. So this means if you                            accept/pleaseYahovah you are accepted by her. Second part- For those who draw near to Yahovah*God must believe                            (accept/faith) that she is (exists), and will reward those that seek her. The Greek word for “seek” is Ekzeteo which means to                            investigate.

Jas 2:17            Faith without works is dead. This means “Faith” which is not based on evidence is a faith which is based on a delusion, a                            falsehood, a lie which makes this type of faith dead or of no benefit. The Greek “word” for works is Ergon which means                            evidence. The Greek word for “dead” is Nekros which means non-existence. Also this scripture means that one must prove
their faith by the evidence of their own works (deeds, actions).

Jas 2:22            Faith is made perfect through works (The evidence of deeds rendered).

Phi 2:12            Work out your own salvation with fear (reverence/worship) and trembling (your actions).

Ro 10:9             Salvation (eternal life) is by confessing that the Messiah’s name is Yahshua and to believe (accept/faith) in your mind that                            Yahovah*God raised him from the dead.

1Th 4:14            Salvation (eternal life) depends on our acceptance of the evidence of Yahshua’s resurrection.

Jn 20:25-31      The physical examination of the Apostle Thomas on the resurrected Messiah Yahshua is a way to solidify proof based on                            evidence. He was not condemned for asking solid proof and he was not punished for demanding for a physical exam. Many
in the Christian community blaspheme the name of the Apostle Thomas by putting an epithet before his name and this is                            absolutely wrong. To doubt is to question what one has come to believe (accept), by questioning their faith. Doubt arises
when there is no solid proof to back up one’s faith. This happens to those who are worshipping something that is not real or
a spiritual entity that has no legitimacy.

Legitimate evidence to back one’s “Faith” is from many sources. It can be through understanding one receives when they read scripture. And it is also accomplished through listening or reading material from a true servant of Yahovah. It is also received through prayer when one receives that which they have asked for. This interaction is especially faith building when those things that occur are deemed impossible. Evidence can be through receiving healings or from the ability to comprehend and speak multiple languages. One can receive visions and dreams which if interpreted correctly can increase their faith. One’s faith is from their acceptance of strange events that only happen because of the plans instituted from above which is for our salvation.

Heb 10:39         Salvation of the spiritual soul is the reward of the believer.

Faith is our part, it is from our minds, it is to accept an altered state of reality which can only be influenced from solid evidence. This evidence is from above and it is supernatural. It is our choice to believe (accept).
