Cyrus is YHVH*God's chosen ally.
YHVH*God called him and he shall succeed in his mission.
To destroy an evil economical and political system.
He shall attack from the north.
From the east, I, YHVH*God, have summoned a bird of prey*war, a man to fulfill my purpose.
Who has stirred up one from the east, calling him in righteousness to his service? He hands nations over to him and subdues kings before him. He pursues them and moves on unscathed, by a path his feet have not traveled before.
I*YHVH-God, have stirred up one from the north and from the rising of the sun, who calls on my name.
But reports*news from the northeast alarms this evil system.
You are my war club, my weapon for battle - with you -I*YHVH shatter nations, with you I destroy kingdoms.
YHVH*God says, before your eyes (Cyrus and the Medes) I will repay, this evil economical and political system for all the sins they
have committed against Zion.
The desecration of the temple in Jerusalem*Yahrusalem. The temple is built on top of Mount Zion.
This evil system sets up it's throne on mount Zion.(desecration)
Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! YHVH*God has stirred up the kings of the Medes-to take vengeance for his temple.
There before me was a white horse-it's rider held a bow and he(Cyrus) was given a crown - he(Cyrus) rode out as a conqueror bent
on conquest(his mission).
The Medes can not be bribed, they strike with the bow.
Take up your positions around "Babylon"- all who draw the bow-spare no arrows.Also Jer 50:42 (daughter of = futuristic)
An alliance of great nations from the land of the north.
Look! An army is coming from the north - a great people and many kings, from the ends of the earth.
Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah.
She bore him Zimran,Jokshan,Medan,Midian,Ishbak,Shuah.
Abraham gave them gifts*blessings and sent them away from his son Isaac,towards the land of the east.
These blessings were conditional, they were based upon obedience to Abraham's decision to settle them eastward.
Some disobeyed and dwelt toward the south in opposition to Isaac's descendants.
Midianites became the Israelites enemies. Also Numbers chapter 25 and 31-Also Judges chapter 6,7,8.
After the Messiah was born in Bethlehem in Judea,during the reign of King Herod, Magi*Parthians from the east came to Jerusalem- verse 2- they came to honor the prophecied King of the Jews.
King Herod and all of Jerusalem were disturbed with this event.
Why? Because of the fear of war. Herod in 40BC. had to flee from similiar events and he was not going to allow this to happen again.
To protect his position of power he did this-
Herod had all males two and under murdered in Bethlehem.
The Magi or Parthians through a dream, where instructed to return to their own country. Why? Because the time was not right for prophecy to be fulfilled.
Three gifts- gold,frankincense and myrrh.
By three Kings- Parthians,Medes,Sarmatians.
Three descendants of Abraham and Keturah.
I-YHVH*God, will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness, I will make all his ways straight.(Divine Guidance) He(Cyrus) will rebuild my city*Jerusalem, and set my exiles free, but not for a price.
For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I-YHVH*God, summon you(Cyrus) by name and bestow on you a title of honor (Rev 6:2-given a crown) though you do not acknowledge me(the name-YHVH)
I will strengthen you - This future Cyrus will learn it is not by his own strength that he rules/has dominion.
I-YHVH will go before you and will level the mountains*nations.
This is what YHVH says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I-YHVH, take hold of to subdue nations before him.
Cyrus is YHVH*God's shepherd to the nations and he will accomplish all that I have designed.
He will say to Jerusalem "Let it be rebuilt" this means- Cyrus shall order the Priestly Kohans to be established.
And of the temple "Let its foundation be laid" this means he will order the temple to be constructed, so that the daily sacrifices are resumed. This all must take place before the Messiah's return.
The desecration of the temple happens in the end times.
The Messiah returns like lightning from the east.
The armies of the nations in a alliance against the returning Messiah. Who are these nations?
The Beast Power - is the evil economical and political power.
The two horned Lamb/dragon is the corrupt religious organization. Verse 15 it causes people to be killed.
It is referenced as the false prophet.
The red Dragon-Eze 38:1 to 6 Gog/Magog with Persia.
It gives the Beast its allegiance/power.
These nations gather for battle at Armageddon.
The return of the Messiah is the day of the lord.
Prepare the nations against her, these kingdoms: Ararat-Armenia, Minni-Kurdistan, Ashkenaz-Azerbaijan
The appointed commander is Cyrus.
The kings of the Medes and all the countries they rule.
