The seed becomes a tree that bears the olives that will led to a grove. The family is the building block of a society, it is an echo-chamber of a larger civilization. And it is built on the foundation of trust, obedience, honor and loyalty. Family is the most important bond that exists between males and females, young and old. Human interaction is the cement of a societal support system that develops into a larger organized cultural. This in turn grows into a common heritage that becomes a foundation of an ethnic people. If you alter the ingredients of the cement the walls will shift under duress and cause the house to collapse. If you fail to protect the olives the pests will take over and win.
A parasitic wasp needs a host in order for its species to survive. There are some societies that are similar and they have caused from time to time the fragmination of older prosperous cultures. In the end they absorb its remains and move on to the next using the former zombified population as a tool in its next scheme. If you castrate a bull it becomes passive and a beta lead group will always stand by like "cucks" in the face of opposition.
A feigning cat lowers itself before a larger and stronger foe. But it attacks from underneath when a predator's gaze turns to a blink. "Kostas Neos Seira" in the Greek language means "Loyalty to a New Order" and this is the foundation of the Sicilian term "Cosa Nostra." The ethnic people of Sicily have a long history of their friendly and hospitable nature being taken advantage of by foreign powers. No invader has ever had free reign on the island due to the "La Mano Nero" unless they recognized the duality of authority.
In the absence of legitimate rulership the "Men of Honor" stepped forward to give relief to an oppressed population. True justice is not a monopoly of constitutions or crowns but an act of legitimacy given to the commoner from the divine. We were born into a realm of "free-will" and any individual at any time whether alone or in an organized body can commit an illogical criminal act. "Law and Order" is in the hands of those who seek its rewards but never is it a parasitic opportunity to confiscate the earnings of an entire group or family.
On October 8th 2014, I was following the unction of the paranormal which led me to the corner of 10th and Catharine streets. I was told to "seek and find" so I entered the establishment at 762 south 10th street. Upon entering I found it very neat and with an old world charm. No one was at the front counter to greet me so I looked around. As I focused on the steps in the distance a vision appeared to me.
I seen an elegant woman in a puffy royal blue dress descending the steps. She had long black wavy hair with a red rose on the left side. The detail of the visual even showed the white inner lining of her dress and the glow of her amber eyes. As she took her last step at the bottom of the stairwell she greeted me with a smile and a nod. At that moment the vision came to an end and a sweet fragrance permeated the area. This ghostly woman projected an aura of a gentleness and a welcoming desire for the health and welfare of all who enter "her domain."
As I stood there for a second I heard the the word "Shelley" in the inner part of my mind. Before leaving I stood in the hallway so that I could absorb as much energy as possible. There is an immense spiritual residue that has been left behind in this building and it makes sense considering it has been an operating business since 1899. This energy could be from patrons or visitors to the Inn section and or the activities performed in its various rooms.
On November 12 2014, I was in deep meditation when this event came back into my mind. I was thinking about how I have walked along 10th street many times in the past and did not stop to investigate this place. Even though every time I passed it I would encounter a warm embrace sensation which caused me to stop outside the building. The alluring feeling of something mysterious inside kept me coming back until I finally gave in to my adventurous side. The first step forward into the unknown is the beginning of enlightenment.
The name "Shelley" could be the woman's name or it could have been a reference to "Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792 to 1822)" or to both. The latter was a playwright and poet who wrote many compositions including "Prometheus Unbound." The history behind the building details a legacy of a support system that was geared towards Italian and Sicilian immigrants who came along during the peek years of migration from 1880 to the 1920's. It was a very popular destination for those who wanted to enjoy food, drink and camaraderie. A place where one could receive financial support, a shelter, an outlet for jobs and protection against discriminating elements in society. In a forest of wolves one can not stand alone and survive. There is safety in numbers and especially if it is amongst the "soldiers of dignity."
"Dante" is a name of an Italian philosopher, poet and scholar who lived from 1265 to 1321 AD. In his poem called "The Divine Comedy" he reveals the three tiers of the afterlife which is hell, purgatory and heaven. The name "Dante" means "enduring" in Italian and "Luigi" means "famous fighter." The name combined means "enduring fighters of fame" which is very significant considering the history of Sicily and the resilient legacy of its people.
On March 30th 1282, an event occurred that was called the "Sicilian Vespers" and it was a successful revolt against foreign occupation and indignity. In the end the people sought recognition as an independent free state from Pope Martin the 4th but he denied them this right. The Vatican would later give its blessings to another foreign army in its pursuit of taking back the island but it failed. Spirituality resides within each individual and their destiny is defined by the karma they build on their earthly path.
Many people live by impulse and are like the leaves that fall from a tree. Where ever the wind blows they flow blindly and with no energy residue. The wise are free thinkers who use logic and connect themselves to the divine for guidance, blessings and resolution. As above so below and as there is multiplicity here on earth so is there in heaven above.
The flag of Sicily is very symbolic in its design and resembles in a way my beliefs of the divine. In the beginning was the "Source" and it was a ball of grey energy. Out of it came the "Darkness" and the creative power of the imagination that spawned the material world. Out of it also came the "Light" and the power of forethought that sprouted "Order." When the darkness and the light aligned itself side by side they formed the "Pyramid" and gave birth to life.
My spiritual journey evolved further with every new discovery and by those who use my services in conjunction with the divine. Those who come to me must put their thoughts into my hands whether it be a blessing from the light or a curse from the darkness. I came into the light to see, to judge and to distribute that which fills me. When the light blinds you with chaos it is only logical to ask darkness to step in to maintain balance and order.
